difficult access cptu & dpsh testing
Project description
The project involved design and development of a new mine site, in Romania. The acquired data was used in conjunction with borehole data in order to better understand subsurface parameters needed to design the new mine structures.
Our assignment
Interra Applications was requested to undertake geotechnical site investigations in order to assess ground conditions using in-situ testing. The aim of this survey was to collect in situ cone penetration data in order to provide support information for future site development.
The purpose of this project was to determine soil parameters and depth to bedrock. Interra Applications used a small sized, track mounted, static/dynamic penetrometer in order to be able to access point locations in very difficult areas
This safe and efficient method was used for its reliability and quickness regarding the project scope, providing valuable data collection.
